A Reader's Guide to the Insights Articles

One page that points you to the right article, whether you are preparing for a first conversation or simply deciding whether to reach out at all.

The Insights section exists for one reason: people considering a spiritual consultation are rarely told plainly what happens, what it costs, what it can address and where it stops. This page gathers every article in one place and explains which one is likely to help you first.

If you have never had a consultation before

Start with the two articles that describe the conversation itself — how it opens, what is asked, how guidance is explained, and how fees are stated in full before you decide anything. They are written to remove the guesswork rather than to persuade you.

If a relationship has ended or is in difficulty

These articles deal with separation, the questions worth sitting with before you speak to anyone, and what spiritual guidance can and cannot realistically offer after a breakup. None of them promise a reunion, a date or a result, because no honest practice can.

If you are consulting from outside New York

Consultations happen by telephone, video call or written message with adults in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. This article explains how the practical side works — arranging a time across time zones, choosing the format, and what privacy looks like when a conversation happens remotely.

If you are trying to judge whether a practitioner is honest

This is the part of the field people are warned about least. These three articles set out the language to distrust, the questions worth asking, and how money should be handled — including why a guaranteed outcome is the clearest warning sign there is.

If you feel spiritually worn down rather than heartbroken

Not everybody writes in about a relationship. Some people describe a house, a family or a long stretch of life that feels heavy or drained. Traditional cleansing practice is complementary cultural support — never a replacement for medical or psychological care.

When you are ready to speak to someone

Reading is not a substitute for a conversation, and you do not need to arrive with a tidy request or the right words. A first message can be two lines describing what has happened and how you would prefer to speak. Prince Edward reads and answers enquiries himself.

Start with a private, no-obligation conversation

Tell us what is happening in your own words. The first conversation is about listening — there is no payment and no commitment at that stage.

Spiritual services are offered for cultural practice, personal guidance, reflection and entertainment. Individual experiences vary, and no result is promised or guaranteed. Services are available only to adults aged 18 or older and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
